Donald L. Granatstein is an investigator with ADR chambers Banking Ombuds Office. He is also a mediator and arbitrator with ADR Chambers, and practices law full-time in areas of personal injury, business law and wills and estates.
Don earned LLB and BA degrees from the University of Toronto and a LL.M. in Business Law from Osgoode Hall Law School. He has also completed certificates in Dispute Resolution from Harvard Law School, the University of Toronto, the Law Society of Upper Canada and the University of Windsor Faculty of Law.
Don has appeared before courts at all levels and before a variety of tribunals including the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Landlord and Tenant Board, the Financial Services Commission of Ontario and the Canada Pension Plan Appeals Board. He is also a roster member of Law Help Ontario, an arm of the Ontario Government offering pro bono legal services.
Don has been a member of the Ontario bar since 1966 and was appointed a Queen’s Counsel in 1979.
