ADRBO has gathered and would like to highlight the following resources on the basis of our most common complaints.
The Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC) offers resources on choosing a mortgage, renewing your mortgage, paying off your mortgage faster and more.
The Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre (CAFC) provides information on past and current scams affecting Canadians. If you think you’re a victim of fraud, you can also report it with CAFC.
Code of Conduct for the Delivery of Banking Services to Seniors
This voluntary code of conduct (the Code) sets out principles that apply to banks to guide them when they deliver banking products and services to Canada’s seniors. The Code applies to banks operating under the Bank Act which are also member banks of the Canadian Bankers Association (CBA), which includes all of ADRBO’s Member Banks.
